Vice President urges women to prioritize mental health

Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has charged women across the nation to prioritize their mental health as a vital part of their overall well-being and success in the workplace.

Speaking during the commemoration of International Women’s Day with women at the Presidency, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang lauded the effort of all women working at the Presidency for their dedication and hard work, encouraging them to break through societal barriers and seize every opportunity available to them.




“I am particularly pleased that today’s discussion will focus on “Wellness in Women,” highlighting critical aspects of managing workplace stress”, she said

She noted A healthy woman is a productive woman, and a well-balanced woman is an empowered woman.

“Our conversations today must not end here; they must lead to policies, practices, and actions that make our workplaces truly safe and equitable”.




“Let us not only break barriers but also build bridges to ensure that no woman is left behind. May we be each other’s keeper”. She concluded.

The occasion also saw females workers at the Presidency honoring Vice President for her exemplary role.
